Our Guest Speaker the year is Chris Reed:

Chris was baptized into Christ over 42 years, in the Boston church of Christ, when studying electrical engineering at Northeastern University. Just two and a half years later, Chris was on the mission team to plant a church in Stockholm, Sweden. 

Two years later, Chris was blessed to marry Kim, the love of his life. God blessed them with their first two children, Caleb and Vanessa, while living in Sweden. Then the family was sent to plant Copenhagen, Denmark. Chris and Kim witnessed God move powerfully, as 11 disciples grew to almost 60 in 18 months. Then, the Reeds were called to serve the church in Philadelphia, and witnessed many miracles, growth, and the founding of HOPE Worldwide in the US. God blessed them to be able to adopt their third child, Hannah, from China.

After Philadelphia, the Reeds have served the churches in Baltimore, Washington D.C., and Denver, before returning to the Nordic Countries to serve the churches in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland for over 12 years. They currently serve leading the Salt Lake Christian church. 

God has also blessed them with 3 wonderful grandchildren, with one more on the way, and an amazing dog, Chiffon.
